the pattern is Anna Maria Horners Multi tasker tote, which I LOVE. it is a great size for those of us with preschoolers, and the front pockets rock for cell phone and keys and chapstick and whatnot.

the bird fabric is from Ikea. They have some neat coordinating fabrics, but my Ikea was out, so I found the floral at Joann.

I have become obsessed with making multitasker totes and now that I have gotten to the point where I can complete about 3 a day if needed. I also like the fact that the side pockets with hold a small water bottle snugly (even though they look small...looks can be deceiving!). I took mine http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=313666.msg3607633#msg3607633 to a family get together because it held my purse, all I needed for swimming, and some b-day gifts. People were raving over them and wanted one.
P.S. I am hoping the title is in reference to Family Guy...if it is, I love it!

I loved the pirate one!

I love this design! You have to read the directions carefully, it is set up different, esp the pocket panels, and the seam for the lining goes up the center not the sides, just take your time, but if you want send a message with pics and one of us can figure it out.

I love AMH's fabrics too. I went to church with her when we lived in TN but was too shy to talk to her. I am kicking myself now, I have so many questions!

The best advice I can give if you get frustrated is do what I did: do the directions sentence by sentence instead of the whole paragraph. As you read each sentence do that with your fabric. I assume it is the part when you are trying to sew the two outer parts together to make the side pockets. I called that part the "Elaborate Oragami Dance of Doom."  Wink Just remember that the outside main fabric's center may be facing out, but the other fabric's center is facing to the sides and is the center of the pockets.
