One more in the pillow series I've been way into lately. This time it was for another friend's birthday. Both she and I really love the band Coheed and Cambria, so I ventured to make a pillow with the Keywork symbol and their infamous dragonfly, as well as each of her favorite lyrics from their four albums.

I know the proportions of the circles are a little off but I realized it only after I finished painting.

"We'll make it if you believe."

"In hopes that we won't be afraid again."

"If my shame spills our worth across this floor."

"Dig deeper, remember all you've been and all you've left behind."

Sorry the pictures turned out a little blurry.

That's adorable! I really like how you wrote out the lyrics...This makes me want to turns some on, and rock out to it...

That's absurd, I love it!

Coheeeeeeeeed!! Now I need to make a pillow like this, since the boy and I are HUGE Coheed fans. Although mine will most likely have lyrics from 'Feathers', 'Junesong Provision', 'Light and the Glass', and 'Mother Superior'. XD

what inspires you ?

Great job.  I may be a bit biased because I have loved Coheed since... since... Oh dear since before I met my husband and that was six years ago.
"Dig deeper... remember... all you've been and all you've left behind" is probably one of my favorite all time lyrics.  However, if I copied your idea I would probably use lyrics from "Everything Evil".
