This is a clock I picked up at Dollarama.  It used to be a really hideous black & grey/silver colour, and I knew that just had to go.

The main part of the clock was painted with dollar store paint, the background is cute dollar store wallpaper (apparently), and the numbers are, of course, dollar store mirrors with numbers painted on.

I think it looks cute in my kitchen, but lately it seems to be losing time.  Has anyone else had this problem with refurbished clocks?  This is the second one I've done, and neither seem to keep the right time anymore.

is it a battery operated clock? if so when the batteries start to run down the clock will run slow, Use  good quality brand name batteries that are new, that should help

it looks sweet! the slow-running problem might also be due to it being a dollar store clock in the first place, not necessarily the refurbished thing. i have always had that problem with clocks etc from dollarama. Sad
