Wow! This is so incredibly beautiful. I would be honored to wear this on my wedding day. Great job!!

Aw thank you!

that is GORGEOUS! You are going to win, for sure. You HAVE to. I'd be dumb-founded if you didn't. Seriously, lol, KUDOS!

Hehe thanks Smiley  There are a lot of beautiful and creative entries!

Gorgeous!

 Cheesy

Beautiful!  I wish I knew about you when I got married 5 years ago, I definitly would have wanted this for my wedding.  I think you have a pretty good chance of winning the contest, your Kanzashi are always perfectly executed.  Good luck!!!  Grin

Aw thank you, that's a really nice thing to say!

So very beautiful! I'm sure you'll blow them away with this one. I think it's a great accessory for weddings, completely embodies the beauty and innocence of it all.

Plus the fact that it's handmade is amazing! I, too, want to do a lot of handmade things for my wedding, but I don't think I could pull this off. I'd go ahead and spend the money for it though. Totally worth it.

Good luck.

Thank you so much  Cheesy

This is amazing! It makes me want to wear it even though I'm already married! You have great talent!

Hehe thanks!

absolutely stunning. I hope you win...then my mentor for kanzashi will be on martha stewart and I can say "hey, I know that lady....she posted kanzashi and that is why I make them now."

Good luck Petal. You should win!

Aww a mentor!!  That's so sweet of you ♥

Oh, this is just gorgeous!
I think you have a good chance at winning Smiley

Thank you!!

These flowers are stunning! You did an amazing job.

Thanks so much, it was a lot of fun to work on  Smiley

Don't be scared!  Wink  It takes some practice, but it's always fun.  My first attempts were terrible!  Roll Eyes  As for fabric, I used a mix of duchess satin and silk dupioni for this piece.  Usually I use Japanese fabrics (chirimen, or Japanese cotton prints, etc) or silk dupioni.

As for the contest, they won't announce until beginning of next month  Undecided  But I think when it closed, there were like 4,000 entries!!

So beautiful and feminine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you ♥ I hope we should all feel beautiful and feminine on our wedding day Smiley

Thanks ^^ I'll maybe try it this week!
Do you use something to make the petals stick when you make them?
I saw somewhere they use rice glue or something ...?

Traditional method is to use rice glue, which works best on light weight fabrics.  If you use heavier fabrics, you'll have to use a more industrial glue, like fabric glue (or some people use a glue gun, but I have a personal aversion to glue guns  Tongue)
