I never had the slightest interest in embroidery of any sort before (craftster), but looking at the varied & beautiful projects on craftster inspired me to attempt it! it's riddled with mistakes, mostly because I am a lefty and so the directions for stem stitch & outline stitch got me mixed up, heh.

The intials are my mum's; she loves anything I make so I decided to give it to her in spite of all the mistakes.

All the embroidering got me into a sewy mood so I made this:

thank you!

I *think* Jenny Hart has written up some Lefty directions so I would suggest a gander at her store  www.sublimestitching.com  Her tutorials have helped me a lot so yah, just throwing that out there....

I think your lefty stitching rocks.  My first attempt as a Righty was WAY messier than that!  Keep it up you are going great and I can tell you have some really fun designs and color schemes in mind for the future!

Great first job! And I covet your bunny!

Speaking as a fellow lefty, you'll get better the more you do it (and you should!!!).

In fact, just do each stitch in reverse of the instructions, and it comes out perfect every time! Did you know that many southpaws can embroider with both hands? It's true!
