my stash is in the garage in giant Tupperware boxes, lol

For a Knit along I joined on another site, I had to calculate how much yarn I own. Total got up to over 17 miles and I know I missed some!

Althought a lot of others had like 30 so it made me feel a little better...

How'd you figure out the miles?

Calculated yardage from my stash page on Ravelry and converted it. You can download the stash as an excel doc which makes calculating easy.

I think it came out to like 17.4 or something.

Ooo! Ooo!  Me!  I've been drooling over slouchy knit hats lately...I normally don't wear hats, but I think they're super cute, and would give me something to cover the many bad hair days I encounter (and my husband is a hairstylist...what's up with that?!)

No kidding. If your husbands a stylist you should just make him take care of any bad hair days!

I have a good amount of stash to bust through...provided I get feedback on a swap I have already sent out for in time...only a couple days left, and it was international to Canada, but has been en route there since the 21st...so...I may yet get lucky Smiley

I hope you can join us! I personally don't have much faith in Canadapost though...

Everything going between me and my mom gets stuck for weeks.

I am so excited about this swap! Is it really nuts of me that I am stalking each new person as they sign up and trying to figure out what I would do for each!?  LOL   I have several ideas that I can get started and then customize for the individual craftster!!

Yeah, I know...but he works hard all day, plus is going back to school for computer networking, so I don't have the heart to ask him to do my hair everyday Smiley
