these are my original three.

close up of the first one, this one has three mini gold beads, and one of the circles i used a black circle.

close up of the second one, this one uses all white fabric, and three pearls in the center.

close up of the third one, this one is all white fabric as well, but with a swar...swarvoski(?) crystal bead in the center.

these two i made today. Tongue
they are addicting!

this one i made for one of my friends, it uses pink fabric and white on the bottom, and the little pearls.

this one i made to wear today, and its all black fabric with the same pearls.

all of them have a couple layers of hairspray, so they all keep their shape so nicely!
thank you for the tutorial!!! and sorry for all the pictures Sad

I just finished makeing some pretty blood red ones.  I just need to stich them together, they are being held together with pin.  My sister wants a couple of them to wear in her hair on her wedding.  Did I tell you that she is getting married in Las Vegas on Halloween.

Moonlightbliss, your flowers are lovely!  Thanks for sharing the pics with us... I especially love the all-black one.  As for the fabric flaking, I don't really have an answer as to why it did that -- I just recommend to keep trying different fabrics.   Undecided   Some of my fabrics curled, some scorched easily, others bubbled.  I never knew what each type/color/fabric would do.  But you did a really great job, and yes, they ARE addicting!

yeah, i think i may have burnt them too much, but i definetly will be experimenting with different fabrics, but the hair spray kept everything from flaking Smiley

Hollylynne -- they turned out AMAZING!  I love the colors you chose -- the blue is my favorite.  (And thanks for the blog mention! Smiley )

Why not look at it as allowing the dress fabric to bring joy to more people by wearing the flowers, and/or giving the flowers away?  Sure beats sitting in a dark closet, all alone and getting dusty. Wink
