Glad I found this tute!  I received a beautiful flower on a bobby pin in a swap as a thankyou and have wanted to make some for quick gifts!

Everyone's flowers are beautiful!  Looks like they would be hard to mess us once they are melted...I think I am going to try mine outside on the driveway with a bucket of water... Cheesy

I tried a new application for these flowers -- on a baby onesie!  Smiley  I embroidered the stem and leaf first, then made the flower.

I assembled the flower a bit differently, since I did NOT want it to come off (and be eaten!)  I glued each layer of petals to the next layer with Aleen's Fabric Fusion (permanent fabric adhesive.)  Once dry, I glued it to the onesie, and then let that dry.  Lastly, I attached each bead in the center of the flower using doubled thread, stitched a few times each.  This flower is going nowhere!  Wink  It should hold up pretty well to wear and washing.   I sent this onesie to my Baby Onesie Swap partner, and if I hear back on how it's holding up, I'll let you know.
