I tried this with some yellow polyester fabric I had. I cut 7 concentric circles, and it curled pretty evenly. I used tongs instead of a clothespeg.

And being a headband girl, I glued mine onto a headband (you probably can't see it very well in this picture)... Cheesy I'm still debating whether or not to attach some beads, or a button to the centre.

I said I'd give it a try over the weekend, and I did!

I used some leftover lining I had from some bags I had made, and got enough lining to make two pieces.

These will be attached to hair clips and given to my 15yo cousin as a gift when I travel to Australia next month.

Am planning on making more, to hand out to the women where I work on International Women's Day, coming soon!!
