I made this from a mans long sleeved sweater.

I'm totally going to try this with one of my husbands beautiful sweaters that he never wears!

lol, thanks.  It took me a while to make because I hand sewed part under the bust and around by hand because I was afraid of the sewing machine stretching it out and puckering, so I just put it on my dress form inside out and started sewing it together.  I have messed around with thicker sweaters before and nothing ever turned out.  This one was quite thin.  I never thought I could ever make something like this out of the sweater before.  It just struck me all of the sudden, the idea.  I guess it takes practice to know what works and what doesn't.  Good luck.
