Hey-o All,

I am an Animal Control Officer for my local shelter. I have volunteered to craft our float this year for the community's Labor Day Parade. BIG DEAL in my area. Anywho, I'm in need of some ideas.

My wonderful boyfriend has volunteered his pickup for the event. I was thinking of making his vehicle into a dog or cat. I was thinking water noodles for whiskers, cardboard for ears, and styrofoam for a nose.

Any ideas or suggestions welcome. Thank you for any input!!!!!

Idea: Turn the pickup into a cat as you mentioned, then turn the float into a spay/neuter campaign by recruiting as many people as you can find to dress as cats and ride their bikes behind.

One female cat can have 3 litters a year, with 4-6 kittens in each litter.  That would be 105 kittens from just one female in seven years, plus her grandkitties and great grandkitties and so on.  Only one in twelve of the kittens will be adopted and the rest will be strays.

It's actually gonna be used to promote my TNR program so that would be great. I was gonna "clip" one of the ears.
