Here's a messenger bag I made not too long ago. I got the fabric on the flap printed from the wonderful Spoonflower, and the rest from Fabricland.

I made the bag about average size. Not too big, and not too small... It's about 13-14 inches across.
I've been working on various messenger bag designs for the past year or 2, trying to figure out something that's easy enough to make, practical, good looking and sturdy. I think I've finally figured out a way I like!

It has a zippered pocket on the front of the bag body, a zippered one in the flap, and a divider on the inside.(I couldn't get a very flattering pic of it. Oh well XD)

I'm a very geeky person at heart with a love for anything vintage or retro. That'll become more and more apparent as I post my creations.

Hope you guys like!

I'm not sure if all Fabricland's are the same, but the one I go to, there's a section in the back where they sell outdoor upolstry and drapery fabric on big long rolls. you should be able ot find it back there

Hey, could you either post or point me towards a tutorial on how you put together the bag?  You did such a neat and tidy job, I'd love to see how you did it.

This is officially the cutest thing EVER. I don't suppose you're intending to sell these anywhere? Cause I would LOVE to have one! That's just such the perfect image to make a bag out of!
