Just completed this one of a kind unique vest. I used a pair of my old jeans, and some organic silk for the bows.

I just hand gathered it and then sewed it in place

Was it hard to sew the gathers on the straps because of the thickness of the denim? Did you sew that part by hand or with a sewing machine?

And I just have to say, that is one beautiful vest you made! Kudos!
