Loads of life stuff happening over here, so there hasn't been much time to sew at all. Today is my tyke's first day back at Montessori, and she needed *something* mama made! So, I managed to squeeze in some alone time with my sewing machine and serger, plus some *amazing* Japanese twill fabric, and came up with this:

It's a little bigger than I'd intended, about 16" tall (plus handles), 12" wide, with a 1.5" gusset. Heavyweight fusible interfacing only on the twill, fully lined (neglected to add pockets. *sigh*). I'm loving all the colors and am so happy with it!

Couple of detail shots:

Who needs twin needle? Not me! I like topstitching so much that I go around twice! (Yes, really!)
(Plus, gotta say, I totally <3 my stamp!)

Thanks for letting me share!

I love the robot fabric! And the lining is really cute and goes well with it, too. Looks so professional!
