My sister came over for the weekend and finally nagged me into making her a purse. I figured while the sewing machine was hot, I should make one for myself too, so here they are!
Both are made from patterns purchased from ithinksew.com

My sisters purse:

These are great. I like them both but love the contrast of the black and white fabric with the bright green lining. Nice job. I'm sure your sister was thrilled with her bag!

OK this is totally crazy...I bought some fabric a while ago that is exactly like the fabric you used for the 1st purse (your sister's), inside & out! And the purse I was planning on making is a very similar style too! How weird is that?!?!?! Very cool!

I was thinking about buying that first pattern just yesterday but I couldn't find any feedback or examples that people had sewn. You have great timing Smiley  What did you think??  Thanks!

Weird... Smiley It was sent to me in a swap and my sister fell in love with it so it worked out well.

Really? Cool. It's a very easy to follow pattern. Although, I found the upper part to be quite loose so I added those two pleats at the top to pull it in tighter Smiley
