So I saw this really cool purse made of magazines the other day, and I decided that I would like to try something like it. However, I wanted a shape that could hold more stuff, so I decided to make a clutch that would have folded side panels. One magazine, half a roll of packing tape, and hours later, this is the final product Smiley

This is cool...I especially like how the edges are straight and not zig-zag, like other bags/clutches made out of magazines.  It's also neat how your clutch will hold more, since it has sides.   Smiley

awesome! so did you just weave the magazine pages 1-ply and then cover the whole thing in packing tape?

-I actually folded the pages into strips (so no cutting involved) and then weaved. But yeah, lotsa packing tape was involved Cheesy

Do you happen to know how many strips you used? And how did you finish each panel? With more tape?
