This bag I think is my Magnum Opus. well, nearly anyways. it's cool nonetheless. I adore paisley pattern, love old ties and can get the really cheap at a local ish charity shop.
made from second hand polyester and silk ties costing 25p each and a table runner from Poundland I have created this bit of lovelyness.
here's a shot of it as is... the little detail on the right hand side near the bottom is a mini tie with a "tie-pin" button on it.

and the back (I wanted to keep some hints to its former life visible)

here it is full

my bus ticket/lipgloss/safety pin/oystercard pocket

pen/lipgloss holder

(I have a UV pen because I collect second hand uranium glass, it's green glass which shines vivid green on exposure to UV light...it's harmless... well, sort of)
my phone and crochet hooks pockets (layered pockets no less!! one fat side for a large gauge crochet hook, a thin side for a small gauge hook and one front pocket for the phone...)

this is all of the crap I managed to fit into it today

I forgot to put the crab apples from the lining photo on the photo of all the crap I managed to fit in it, appologies.
I don't normally make bags, but I loved making this one.
forgot to mention: I didn't interface it because the ties have individual interfacing in as it is.
