My BF found this site for me a few months back... I'm a veggie, so no hotdogs for me, but it'd be cute with soydogs methinks.... It would be a great way to dress up your next get together and/or party.....

The site is in Japanese but with lots of visual instructions....

Any ideas on other veggie products that could be used instead of hotdogs?

Look in the children's section of your local library under cooking, entertaining, or food.  I do this all the time and make little creations out of vegetables for my boys.  As a matter of fact, I think one of the books I have checked out was called "Play With Your Food"!  I have also made them for potlucks or get togethers for adults and they go over very well.  You can make a big, normal veggie tray, then add a few creations on top and it looks fabulous!
