Okay, I made this sweet little deer a while ago for an amigurumi swap, but I'm just now getting to post it because of computer troubles. This was definitely one of the more difficult amis I've ever tried to tackle, and I thought it would be the death of me, but in the end I think it turned out really good. I tried to write up a pattern for her as I went, but that didn't go over so well, so just about all of her was done freeform. Please let me know what you all think!

She's adorable.  Even the BF said wow when he saw that it was poseable( i have no idea how to spell that lol).  Would love to know how you did it.  Did you use pipe cleaners or something else??

Great job, and I love the little scarf and her bed of grass  Grin

I think that this is horribly cute and I usually don't fare well with cute.  I especially love its mossy rug.  and the scarf?  yes!  a cute deer wearing a cute scarf.  Could I say cute one more time?

nope.  About how big is she?  LOVE this and will be hitting 'THIS ROCKS' because, well, it does.

lol thank you! i'm glad even the BF likes her. I actually used a heavy wire, bent the ends up so they wouldn't poke through and wrapped it in yarn the same color as the legs, but pipe cleaners would be a good alternative, I just didn't have any haha. and i actually used safety eyes inside the legs where it joins to the hips and shoulder, so those joints are movable as well. though if i had to do it again, i'd probably try to use doll joints instead.

The amount of detail in this adorable deer is amazing! I would never have the patience to do that. Really great. I can't believe she's posable and everything. It's kind of blowing my crochet mind a little bit.

You did this for a swap? Whoever get this better be blown away because it's great.
