Since i've been making AT LEAST a hat a day for the past few days, and there is no end in sight, I have decided to give each hat its own tutorial, instead of putting 6 hats and six tutorials to a post (see my first post http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=31708.0 )

Now heres the hat I made today I call Rainbow Groove  Kiss

I used 13pt circular needles. And Red Heart Rainbow Sport yarn.

Cast on 64 stitches.
Knit double sided stockinette stitch for as many rows as you want the "brim"
Then knit one row.
Switch to thick black yarn (I forget the brand I used) Mine is kind of fuzzy XD
Then knit 4 rows
Purl 4 rows
knit 4 rows
Switch back to rainbow yarn
Knit to top and bind off.

Now it gets tricky. I always just wing-it on the tops of hats, so my directions are kinda... odd

Seperate into four seperate sections to make a "plus" sign.
Stitch outwards on one "tip" till you reach the end of it. Then turn around, and make the first stitch about half way down the tip. This will cause it to curl. Then simply stitch your way back to the middle and repeat on the other tips. Then you're done!

Hope this helps someone!

Hearts and love-
Erin
