I've caught the bag making bug and cannot stop sewing!  Here are my latest creations...

This is an 8 x 8 inch mini messenger bag I made with one of my favorite fabrics and lined with a bright gold fabric.  It's reversible and will be finished when I add a button closure...

Here's a side view...

... and here's the removeable bow and fabric detail.

Here are two Strawberry Shortcake messenger bags I sold to a mother and daughter.  They both have a red interior, strawberry buttons, and are reversible...

Here is a tote bag I made using an old McCall's pattern my aunt had from the 60's.  I put demin on the inside and rickrack around the bottom to give it a little shot of color.  Each side has an outside pocket that is found between the straps but is really hard to see, and I sewed the little zipper pouch to match...

Side view...

Detail...

Zipper pouch with red interior and strawberry applique I created out of felt and handstiched on...

Thank you so much for looking!!  Your input is very welcome  Smiley

Thanks so much!!  That simple little zipper pouch is my most favorite creation out of everything I've ever made just because I love how it turned out and I'm proud of myself for making the strawberry from scratch.

I LOOOOVE the star one!  Awesome fabric and the bow is a perfect added touch.  The strawberry one is also really cute.

You are getting better and better with each bag you make.  And the bows are just enough extra detail to give it your perfect touch.  My favorites are the star bag because of the fabric and the Strawberry Shortcake matching bags because it would be so cute to see a mom/daughter carrying the same bags.  So cute!!

Aww.. thank you!   Grin   My mom absolutely loved the mother/daughter ones and she says she thinks they would sell the best.  I'll have to make some more and find out!

Beautiful!  All of them!  I love how you use the lining material in the handle as well... I usually do that too.  I like the extra color it brings to the bag.
