I made this over 3 years ago and just ran across the photo so I thought I'd post.
this is the second panel I had ever made (I still need to take pics of the first and subsequent ones)no pattern used - the corners are a blue & white art glass, the edges are blue waterglass and the center panels are a textured clear glass (hard to cut cleanly) I found the center bevel 1st & just had to make something with it.

I gave this to my (at that point, future) in-laws when I was meeting them for the 1st time.

Beautiful.  I am so envious of people who do stained glass art.  I have been eyeing a class offered by our educational board, but it is every Tuesday during my work hours, so it is not meant to be (yet).

I love the textured glass, and all the different shades of blue together.

I always seem to be drawn to anything that is this color in glass.  You've done an excellent job on this piece.  It sparkles.

Thank you. It is very time consuming, but very rewarding. If you do get the opportunity, I highly recommend taking that class!

That's really nice. When I joined a class, we had to use lead for our first design.  I'm glad we did that but after the first couple of small pieces, I was glad to move to copper foil.

That is beautiful. I like it hung outside. Does it weather well?
