So raggamuffin's wedding post made me think that someone might benefit from seeing pics of my crafty "fall" wedding. We did almost everything ourselves- flowers/deco, invites, favors. I thought I would post pics here as to not hijack her thread!
Sorry about the picture quality. All of these were done by our guests (I am way too lazy to scan our professional pics)!
Here are our invites. Hand crafted with origami paper. We used the same paper for "wish cards" as well as for a paper airplane send off. Yes, I love Martha Stewart weddings!

This is our buffet table. My stepmom made the garland & bows & we both did the flowers.

Here is a close up of the buffet centerpiece.

Our table centerpieces were pumpkin lanterns. We made table runners of tulle & put silk fall leaves underneath it & around the lanterns.

Our DELICIOUS cake! It's just about the only thing we didn't make ourselves although we did put the flowers on it!

We had our wedding & reception in the same place (my father in law's amazing waterfront backyard) so we didn't have space to have tables moved in. We solved that by setting it up like this:

This is actually one of my favorite pics. I love the way the wind caught my train. That is my photographer fixing it!

You can kind of see my bouquet. It was all roses and chrysanthemums. I also wore chrysanthemums in my hair.

My bridesmaids & their flowers.

Last but not least my favorite part of the ceremony our handfasting. It is a family tradition and was a huge hit with all our guests!

For favors we made jam from blueberries we picked while camping in North Carolina. We also had a vegetarian caterer & it went over really well. We used big mason jars with candles to light the path to the back yard as well as at the water's edge.
I hope that someone finds this inspirational. It was a small wedding (60 people) and we did a ton of work for it but it was beautiful & amazing & one of the best days of my life!
