I had bought this top a while back from the thrift, despite it having several obvious bleach booboos up near the neckline... I loved the shirt to death and thought I could figure out something to cover the stains... So fast forward many months to now, I finally dug out the top and disguised the booboos...

Don't you just love felt and hand stitching? Grin

That's great!  Now I know what to do with those "ruined" shirts.
Do the felt hearts affect the stretchiness?  Or did you stretch the fabric as you sewed them on?
Thanks!  Wink

The area the hearts are in doesn't stretch too much when I wear the shirt... but just in case.... I put the shirt on - pinned the hearts with straight pins, removed the shirt, then sewed the hearts on...

I've always been afraid of washing felt.  I keep thinking it's going to turn into a fuzzy mess.  how does it hold up?

I have this rule "when in doubt, handwash" and anything I've put felt on, I handwash... It holds up fine that way, but I wouldn't know how it'd hold up in a machine....
