There is a whole series of advertisements out in book form.  They have the 30's to the 60's.  They are a bit pricey--you may find it best just to hunt for the old mags??  But the pages (700-900!) are in color & thick.  Great for all the projects we talk about on here.  There's also calendars that you could use.  Anyway--here you go:

Ooooh! Seriously, vintage ads are my FAVORITE graphics to work with! I've gotten a TON of mileage from just a couple of Women's magazines of the 40s. I bought an early '60s Woman's Day yesterday with a cover full of 'modern hairdos' that I'm DYING to make coasters out of. Wheee!

Yeah -- Taschen makes amazing art books. I have bunch of them that I've bought over the years. They are so beautiful. Here's a link to a search for "taschen" on Amazon:

I just recently bought the 60s All-American Ads book and I'm VERY pleased. So many great ads in there, and boy what a cool coffee table book. I've been making color copies out of it for weeks now for collages, and one of these days I'd like to make some full-size 8x10 copies to matte, frame, and hang up as wall art! The possibilities are endless! I'd really like to get that album cover book as well....
