Hi craftsters!
I wanted to share an embroidery project that I recently completed for a swap.  My partner wanted an embroidered panel that she could use as part of a purse.  She also said that she loved the embroidery in her books that looked like a garden.

Well, I took that idea literally and paintshopped together 2 images from Butchart Gardens in B.C. Canada.  Then, I printed out my final image on printable fabric (love that stuff) and proceeded to embroider on top of the image.

Here's the result:

It was really fun to do!  Hopefully she likes it as much as I do!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.
