Egregious use of pantyhose aside... What do you guys think of the whole issue with the model being 6 inches different from her stated dimensions. It's so unfair to the designer!

That was completely unfair...the whole point of the measurements is to make everyone look good.

(Oh, and one little side-note:  Anyone else really disappointed with the results of the All Stars competition?Huh  GRRRRR!!!! Angry)
Not going to lie...kind of loved Chris. He's just a muffin of love.

No. Doubt.  But you could tell that he'd already surpassed his own expctations, so I was kind of at peace with it.  I was just not impressed with the winners' collection at all.  With the exception of one piece.  Blah.  Any of the other three I'd have been okay with... okay, moving back into season 6 discussion, sorry!   Roll Eyes

Who's already picking their favorites?  I really want to see more of what Epperson can do!

I think this was totally unfair! I mean I can see if the designer accidently cut too much off, but really? He was only going by what was written. I loved the dress he had started out with and it could have made the top. But good thing we get to see more of him.

Christopher Straub is my favorite! When I watched his submission video, I immediately clicked with his style and designs. So I am rooting for Chris  Grin

My sister's are both Daniel V. fans and I had to explain to one of them about the deconstructed eurotrash look he was putting out there--As opposed to Korto's amazing dresses WITH POCKETS.

We were both disappointed.

On Chris March, I was hoping and not hoping he would win because he would have a heart attack. He was so cute. And his attitude is so different from every other designer that has been on there (looking at you Santino, Jeffrey and Korto.)

ETA: I find Sir Smocksalot insufferably pompous. "I just graduated design school. I'm so great. My model made me do it."

Super psyched to see my home state (Minnesota) represented by not one but TWO decent contestants!  Go Ra'Mon and Christopher!!!

YES and YES.
I too was shocked and so proud for a Minnesota double feature. This year will be great!

But c'mon, we all know who the all-star should have been (and even a different runner up too), as much as I liked the winner's personality.

Minnesota in da house, baby! I was so worried for Christopher when he talked about not having the technical training (I still think that is going to bite him in the ass). But in his bio vid talking about how he took 3 yards of cheap fabric and made a gown? OMG, that is so Minnesotan, it's hilarious.

And yeah, sucks to have your model have different measurements than you thought, but...seriously, all I could think about was all the incredible clothes that people here make out of sheets, pillowcases, old t-shirts, ugly sweaters, etc. But the guy couldn't suck it up and create something better from his too-small dress than a see-thru nightgown? Actually, I thought his gown was fugly before he had to rip it apart and start over.

Oh, and the designer that got sent home? I think she would have stayed if she had only made a long skirt for her silver hoodie thing.

I didnt like the winner's clothes better, but the other finalist's attitude towards the winner in their season was unacceptable! Don't be bitter! She won.... Accept it with grace and class, because that "I should have won, and now the judges know it, stuff is just gross.

As for episode one on the new season, if this season is as drama filled as the first episode, we are in for a wild ride!

I liked her style and whatnot, I am just hoping that she doesnt turn into a new Kinley. That girl got on my last nerve  Cheesy
