So a watch of @The Fast and the Furious 4@ and I've got this far.

Off course it would go much quicker if I didn't haveto content with this.

I worked on mine a little more last night and all I have left to do is finish the ribbing at the bottom and the sleeves, I made another alteration and made it a v neck because I love v necks and I'm going to crochet around the edge of the neck line instead of the purl rows because I like the look of crocheted borders more, I'm hoping to get more done later if I finish my finals and then maybe I can finally take a picture of it

zombiecazz, am I remembering right that you're using three strands of worsted weight and one of fingering weight? Does the fabric seem too heavy to you for a short-sleeved sweater, especially in acrylic? I'm using three worsted and one fingering (2 Simply Soft country blue, 1 Simply Soft wheat, and a Bernat Baby Coordinates sparkly white, a pretty combo) , and while the fabric has lots of give, I'm considering making it long-sleeved because it seems like this sweater will be a sauna.

Yes it feels like it will be really warm. so long sleeves would probably work.

I'm half way through the ribbing at the front and then it's onto the sleeves. Took a break last night and watched Pitch Black mmmm Yummy Riddick  Grin

zombiecazz- Your sweater looks lovely so far.  I can't wait to see it finished!  Smiley

For anyone who's started this sweater already- Do you think it would work with 4 strands of Sugar'n Cream cotton (or equivalent) held together?  That way it wouldn't be so hot.  I live in Florida and don't really have a need for warm sweaters, but I think this is darling.

Also, about how many yards do you all think you are using?  I think I want to attempt it once I am finished up with the swaps am I in (only have one left to send).
Thanks for your help!

I made mine a long sleeve but ran out of one color of yarn 6 inches from the bottom of the second sleeve, I'm hoping to find just a little more so I can finish it. With 3 strands of simply soft it is heavy, like a think sweatshirt but still very stretchy, I tried it on yestday when I finished the first sleeve and I'm in love with it, I will be wearing it a lot when it gets cold out.
