Hi guys I'm back with something new!
I am a big fan of Bob Ross, I remember when I was a kid Bob Ross came on after the cartoons.
As I sat down at the sound of an angels voice saying "there are no mistakes just happy accidents" and "lets load these son of a guns with paint" I'd journey to a happy place where wet on wet paint layered one another and pallet knifes created beautiful mountain peeks.

.. lets skip from the fantasy and back to painting....

So... I had a big blank canvas laying around that I always sat down next to when I go to my computer, and one day I slapped it on the easel and said "damn you Bob Ross! this one's for you".


Bob Ross works with wet on wet oil paint, unfortunatly I have acryilic paint so I had to work in layers, leaving time for the paint to dry.

I started off the same way he did laying down some liquid white to let the sky colors blend in.






Layer after layer, a few cans of soda pop and around 25 to 30 hours of painting later, I finally finished. It took me around a weeks time stepping back and thinking what to put next.
Personally I like how it came out, I had fun and enjoyed the outcome of the holographic paint I put in to it.

it's beautiful, i just had a screaming conversation with my bf that went to the tune of "you've never seen bob ross!!!!" "no, i hear he's good though", and me responding with "omg!!!" so yeah, off to youtube some bob ross.

I think this is very awesome! I loved watching bob ross too. I would get paper and my watercolors out as a kid and "paint" along with him. I think my favorite line was "lets put a happy little tree over here"
Seriously, who doesn't love Bob Ross, and the afro!
