I've been loving hooded towels recently.

Here's an alien one with a tail on back:

A superhero one with a mask on the hood & lightning bolt on back:

A Thomas one:

And a princess one:

What do you think??

Thanks! They're just full size towels with a hand towel sewn on for the hood. I found lots of tutorials for them just googling "hooded towel tutorial" that are really helpful. I didn't use any specific one, just got some ideas from them & did my own.

These are awesome! I would love to try some of these. What material do you use for the applique? It looks like felt.

Great ideas!  We outgrew those baby hooded towels a long time ago and I miss the hoods!  I'll have to try this!

These are great! The superhero one reminds me a bit of Harry's quidditch outfit and I secretly want it!  Grin
