My latest finished quilt ~ MOONGLOW

Hi everyone, I finished a quilt for my bed this month.
Here is my MOONGLOW which is a special Jinny Beyer block a month quilt I started a while back and only now finally got the quilting finished.I had stalled on this for ages, so my lovely mum helped me finish the quilting for my birthday.






It was pretty hard to do the mariners compass, they were quite tricky.
I love purples, turquoisey seagreens and black so its perfect for my bed.

Really beautiful!!  I love mariner's compasses and those colors are my favorites!  Did you paper piece them?

yes paper piecing on the starry ones and simple courthouse style on the others.

yes it was pretty challenging doing the points.
I learnt a lot.
I am slowly finishing all my quilts. I love patchwork, just got to take the time to get the quilting done.

ASOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!  FABULOUS!  I LOVE IT! 
I have been wanting to get a quilt that is done in purples and this would be the one I'd choose!  It is beautiful!  It would go great in my bedroom--I have lavender colored walls. 

I applaud your patience.  You've worked hard and should be proud!

Wow, that's amazing! I made a quilt with similar colors a year ago but the pattern was not as impressive as yours. Great colors to have on your bed in the middle of the dark winter!
