I had no pattern for this, less than a yard of fabric, and I don't really know how to make sleeves, so this was kind of a risky project. But I'm really happy with the way it turned out! 
All I did was use another dress I had to cut around in one flat piece, then sew the sides together, and put bias tape around the sleeves and neckline. Then sewed buttons on the front!

This dress is beautiful!  I adore the colors and the pattern.  Your DD is a lucky girl! 

I also LOVE your blog!  That scarf idea is the best and easiest thing I have seen since I don't know when!  I can not wait to make some!!  You and your DD are sooo stylish, keep up the great work!
