This belt used to be a corduroy skirt that was too big for me. It was really easy to make!! You just fold your piece of fabric over and sew up the ends, then put a belt buckle on! I added some extra stitching, and of course you can add on whatever you want. This bottom picture is before the belt buckle was put on, but you can see the stitching a little better.

Great idea!  A quick and nifty way to perk up that lil' dress or long shirt!  And the stitching looks pretty good, too!
