I don't fit in a box, round hole, or any slot that you want to put me in. I am unique, intelligent, funny, passionate, beautiful, spirited and kind. I'm a lover, not a fighter, but will fight when pushed too far. I'm a puzzle it might take you years to figure out, if you can. I am an enigma.

Beautiful!  The fillings are really eye-catching.  And I especially love the text.

I always love to see these pieces of work. My best friend has been doing this for YEAAAAARS. Sadly, it is very hard to sell this kind of art.

Nice job. I always wonder how people come up with such a big range of doodle designs. Maybe i'm not creative enough...

The KEY word you used was doodle. That is exactly why it is hard to call this an art. Yet, not everyone is capable of making these. I know my best friends plans her out so it takes a lot of time, then not to mention the time implementing it, and coloring it.

I wish you much luck.

Thanks everyone!  I so enjoy doing these...but it does take time.

I put my own twist on zentangles, so they aren't exactly true "zen."  I've always been sort of a rebel...going my own way...

I always come up with the text, and then plan the zentangle around it.  All of them have a theme, taken from a page in my life.

As for the doodles, I'm always looking for patterns that I enjoy.  I do a lot of practicing.  This one did take me appx 3 hours to do.  (Again, not the "zen" way...LOL)  I'm making a doodle journal, so I'll have ideas from the one's I've done.

Even if you don't have lots of ideas...just sit down and do it...you don't have to finish all at one time...It's your piece, your schedule.  Hope you'll try one soon...they are very addicting...(I have eight in progress...hahaha)
