Hey, are there any Dallas knitters out there who would be interested in starting a Stitch N Bitch group with me?  I can't find an existing one anywhere, and I KNOW there have to be some other knitters around here somewhere!!   Cheesy

YAY!!!!

squaretangle, of course it counts!  I'm a very newbie knitter myself.  And glad you're excited -- I am too!

So . . . any ideas as to where/how often/what day/etc?  I work during the day, am free in the evenings.  I work and live close to downtown, but am pretty flexible on location, as long as it's not too far away.   Smiley

WOOWHO!  -there I go again!

Welcome StormTrooperPrncss!

I work a M-F, 8-5 job so weekends are best for me, cause I have a little one that has school work.  Don't think i'm that old ladies, I just started young.

I don't know where, how often ect.  I still need to get the book!  We'll figure something out I'm sure.

What about you Trooper?

Right now I'm still job hunting, but evenings/weekends would probably be best. As for location, as long as I can find it without getting myself hopelessly lost, it doesn't matter.

OK, so it looks like Sundays are good . . . any preference for what time of day?

I've been trying to think of places to do this, and I've got a couple of ideas:  Black Forest Cafe (which is inside the HalfPrice Books on Northwest Hwy and I75) and Kathleen's Art Cafe on Lovers.  Kathleen's is open on Sundays; I have no idea how crowded it is that day or if they would be amenable to us camping out.  I may give them a call and see how it looks.  There's also Cafe Brazil, either on Mockingbird and I75 or on Cedar Springs.

What do y'all think?  Any other ideas for location?

Do we want to try for this coming Sunday (March 7)?

I'm up north by Addison/Farmer's Branch and all that.

I've never been to Kathleen's before, but I do know where the other two are located.

Sundays are fine with me, although I'll probably be out of town this upcoming one.
