Hello all,
I've always wanted to try my hand at weaving so being the impulsive (antique loving) person that I am I found an old loom on Ebay super cheap and bought it. It arrived today in four boxes. I managed to put it back together by using the photos that the sellers had taken of it. I know that there are pieces missing from it and there are other pieces here that I don't know where they go.
I love the look of this old thing, that's why I bought it but I'd really like to restore it to working order. My first question to you folks is what kind of a loom is it? I'm not sure if it's hand made or what...there are no labels or markings on it anywhere. Even the cast iron parts are not marked.
Any help at all would be appreciated.

Looks like it might be a Newcomb Studio loom made for weaving rugs.
