I had some fun, and made a puzzle into a letter to mail to my parents. I also wrote a tutorial, and put it on my blog: http://store.tidbitstrinkets.com/blog/ You can see more pics of it being made there.

What do you think? I wanted to have the whole puzzle be the picture, not each individual piece.

Cute idea... are you going to write a message on it, or is it just a picture? (it would be kind of neat to write a message that they can't read until they put the puzzle together! (hmmm... maybe that's what I should do for my brother's belated birthday card...)

Yes, I did write a message on it after it was done. I just didn't want to photograph that because well...it's a private message. LOL But it was not readable until the puzzle was assembled. I wrote it with a Sharpie marker.

Nods. I just wondered... you gave me an idea for my brother's birthday, which was this week and I hadn't done his card yet. Somebody gave me a blank puzzle ages ago and it was lying around in the drawer. So I painted it with watercolours and let it dry and then I dug out all my pens and started drawing a Birthday Zentangle on it. I'm nearly finished, and I hope he likes it!
