I love her Rita!  She's all wistful and pretty.  You always manage to get an amazing amount of expression out your stitches Smiley

Here's my design for I Sew Cute's towel. It's a coloring book page I found here: http://free.coloring-fun.com/coloring-pages/i/ice-cream-coloring-page-18.pdf. I'm the last stitcher, so the towel will head home in tomorrow's mail Smiley.

I crayon-tinted the hair, eyes, ice cream, and purse. I had started stitching the eyes but that looked all wrong, so I picked out the stitches and did crayon-tinting instead, which I think worked tons better. The embellishments on the hat and purse are some a friend sent me, and I loved having a way to incorporate them into this. The lotus flower stitch on the tank top is from Jenny Hart's new book -- I know you're supposed to make the flower itself out of lazy daisy stitches, but that wouldn't have worked on the flowers "under" the purse strap, so I just did them as backstitch. I loved stitching this gal!!

j_q_adams-  What an awesome image for SarahJ!  I love the paddles and the canoe on top of the car.

sarahj2001-  Beautiful!  I love those flowers! *sigh* I used to have beautiful hollyhocks at my old house in Michigan, but they just won't take here where I live now..

greenlightgo-  Your two images are fun! I love the way the kitty and the fish are ready to rumble.

ritapizza-  Sweet mermaid!  I'm excited to see that whole sea-themed towel!

~Glenda-  Beautiful details on that sweet girl!  I particularly like the sprinkles on the ice cream.. My kids won't have a cone any other way!

Fantastic holly hocks! I have some white ones in my yard.
The kitty and fish are hilarious! Great addition to that towel.
That mermaid is fantastic! I love her hair.
Such a cute girl and her ice cream. I love how you did the eyes!

I particularly like the sprinkles on the ice cream

Susie, those were supposed to be little dots, like strawberry ice cream, and you can see on the bottom left of the ice cream they started off small . . . but then my seed stitches got longer and longer, so now they are sprinkles Wink. When kiddo looked at it and said "yum, sprinkles!", I figured they had officially become sprinkles!!

Wow! Glenda you totally rocked your last design ice cream girl looks awesome Smiley

Here is my last design for aadaI think this is how it will sit on her apron

The shark is a sailor jerry design and I love it sharks are awesome and no nautical towel should be without one Wink  I used the satin stitch to give it some contouring and the new variation floss in ivory for the teeth you can't really see the variation but I think it makes the teeth more real.

I added a compass rose of my own design with a SS tattoo A for you know whoI think it came out awesome and it allowed me to use my newest weapon the trellis stitch Wink
