I finished Greenlightgo's towel today. Her theme is nature.  I made it a "Fall" tree since I am in a Fall mood.

Here it is. My last one.

Sixblueirises theme was mermaids and underwater-related items. I went with a slightly different take, but as soon as I saw it I had to do it:

It's Lori Lemaris, who was Superman's college girlfriend (and a mermaid). Her thought balloon says:

"GULP! As long as I didn't see Superman, I could pretend that I had forgotten him! Now I know I've been deceiving myself. Aquaman is wonderful ... but he's no Superman! Superman is the only man I can ever love!"

And, I have to say, once again my Bleach pen saved my bacon. I scorched the **** out of this when I transferred the pattern. Trying to get it out before I stitched would probably have made it worse so I just soldiered on, telling myself that if it didn't come out the the scorch marks made it look like an old comic book that had gotten discolored with age (even though my husband kindly said, "No, it really doesn't.").

But, lo and behold, the marks out completely. Thanks Clorox!

No picture of them all since I'm the last stop on its way home, but the full apron turned out fantastic. I hope she posts a picture when she gets it.

The comic book piece is fantastic! So detailed and so much text. Nice work!
I got my towel back today! Sadly I've run out of day light and my lighty sucks. I'll snap a pic in the morning and post it. Thanks Lizards! Wink

GatsbyGirl ~ That is SO cool!!! Hunh, I never would've thought about using a bleach pen for scorch marks. Storing that away for future reference.

aada ~ She's cute!! Love her red hair and green eyes. I'll be the last stitcher for that towel; can't wait to get it Smiley.
