Here's my addition to IamSusie's towel. There was no specified theme, but I really liked the flowers and tree that were already on it, so I wanted to do something similar. I found this pattern in the Hoop Love Flickr pool, but it wasn't quite right.
So I played around with the elements of the design and came up with this:


Here's a detail of the center stem


The right flower with mountmellick stitch around the edge and button hole stitch on the next two stripes.


And my favorite part- the center flower


I am so in love with this design that I'm going to have to stitch another for myself!
