Here's my addition to rectangle's apron. It's a design from a Leisure Arts embroidery booklet (Stitchin' Retro). I'm not an artist so I'm not sure the proper terminology for this type drawing, but the lines don't connect everywhere . . . it's more like a sketch, I suppose -- I had the hardest time NOT connecting the lines while I stitched Wink.

One of the things in rectangel's profile is that she likes to travel. I had several 50's and diner ideas in mind, but when I saw her apron in person I didn't like how my ideas fit in with what was already on the apron, so I decided to go in a completely opposite direction. When I saw this design in the booklet, it said "Pick me, pick me!!" Smiley. The postmarks on the suitcase represent the locations rectangel's towel will hit during TTT5, and I added her initials to the luggage tag Smiley.

Wow that sacred heart is amazing. And the Trick or treat octopus is out of control awesome! I can't get a satin stitch to look like that to save my LIFE! Such great work PaleAngelLex.
I Sew Cute~ fabulous job per usual. Fantastic mermaid! Great detail!
~glenda your design is darling! I think its brilliant to include the states abbreviations on there from the groups locations! HOW COOL!

I've decided on a design for cupcakeguru's towel, and I have it on the towel now, just have to get it done! I'm super excited about it too! Oh, Yea, BTW- cupcakeguru, the sublime stitching tea towel you sent out to stitch on is AWESOME, I LOVE IT! I GOTTA get me some of them. It feels like the eco-tote did, only softer!
I'm sending out fabricfriend's teatowel to sundayafternoonhousewife Monday!

If I recall correctly, rectangel's apron is also a Sublime Stitching tea towel and boy did I love the weave and sturdiness of it!!

PaleAngelLex - your heart is wonderful.  I love the tentacle monster!

I Sew Cute - your mermaid is adorable.

~Glenda - love the design.  Great idea to pit patches where the towel will be.

Wow! Everyone is on fire in this swap. Too much goodness.

As soon as I saw millik's theme was video games I knew what I wanted to stitch. I was a little scared that I'd chosen something from a game she wasn't familiar with so she'd see if and go "What the hell is that?" but when I got her towel in the mail I saw she had doodled his head on the included note so I knew I was on the right track.

I give you in all his split stitch glory: the Katamari Prince:

It looks like mego didn't get a chance to post her contribution (forgive me if she did and I missed it), so here it is:

And here's the full towel so far:
