Wow! Both of those are beautiful.

Tinting is so easy but you do have to be careful-start off with soft light coloring and then if you want it darker, keep filling it in.

I'm not happy, I'm cheerful. There's a difference.

Sonjabegonia- the butterfly is so pretty.  I like the colors you used.

ThirdMargaret - I like the color and I think you used the right amount of floss it makes it look very delicate.

3rdMargaret-I think the amount of threads works more and you would have lost some of the sharper edges of the design

Sonja-the butterfly is lovely it has a really pop of the page feel to me Wink

Kittykill- You're girl looks amazing. Her eyes are beautiful, and so is the rose in her hair.

GatsbyGirl- She is totally adorable, and the satin stitching is perfect. I love the seed stitch every where.

sarahj2001- Your face looks fine, and the horse looks great. I think everyone's harder on themselves when they are new.

Zombie_Queen- That was a great idea for that towel. I still have no idea what I'm going to do. I'll have to see what's all there when the towel gets to me. Very nice stitching, and use of wikipedia.

~Glenda- I think you pulled off sun catcher really well. The tinting really takes it that extra step. Very beautiful stitches

Sonjabegonia- I wish you were sending to me every week and not the other way around. Your stuff always looks so neat and pretty, I wish I could see it up close.

ThirdMargaret- I love it. I think you went with the right about of strands as well. I can't wait to get it back to realy see the color in the work. And you even put sequins!

GatsbyGirl - I love that matroyska! I think that is the last towel I'll be getting in the mail, so I'm excited to see it in person.

Third Margaret - I love the bird! It reminds me of a phoenix--just beautiful.

I love Sonjabegonia's butterfly, too. Everyone here always comes up with really creative ways to use different stitches!

Here's a picture of what I stitched on ThirdMargaret's towel - it's a flyer for a Haunted House:

I altered the image quite a bit as far as the lettering goes, but everything else is the same just simplified. Most is done in 2 strands, but the small details are done in 1, and the red letters and moon are done in 4. Most is back stitch with some seeding, chain stitch, and stem stitch.

Here's a pic of the whole towel:
