Oh wow Gatsbygirl -- LOVE IT!!!  I can't wait to see all the different critters that end up on it Cheesy

Thanks for the sweet comments about my deer & bunny -- I didn't like the eyes on the original drawing, but then I ran out of time to come up with eyes I liked better, but I think those eyes are growing on me!

I can't wait until Mamaphunk's towel gets here!!  Hopefully tomorrow -- tracking said it got here on Thursday, but uh... it didn't.  From what I hear, when some mail men get lazy they leave packages in the truck -- so I hope that's the case.

The sea horse is great! Thanks all! The devil girl was fun to draw and even funner to stitch! I have a love for Sailor Jerry art work so it wasn't hard to find a reference picture.  Cheesy I have a pic over on my flickr photostream of the man that said the quote holding the embroidery as well.

Due to internet issues I've been having...I have a lot to catch up on here~

Rectangel - your pinup is stunning...I really love her eyes and coy expression!

Sew~Amy - clever idea to do the VW Bus! It captures the whole theme of the Tour!

GatsbyGirl - love your use of sparkly floss...the fireworks really twinkle!

j.q.adams - sweet towel... love your color palette and the octopus. The binding is a fabulous touch... I hate to do binding myself...your binding offer is really generous!

sarahj2001 - I love the butterfly frame you made! Great work!

Mamaphunk - backing a towel is such a super idea~ I like how the threads on the back are protected...not being too worried about how they look...I'm more concerned about them getting pulled out.

greenlightgo - your green man is awesome! Great work on the eyes!

Paleangel - the parakeets are adorable...I love mirror images too! The color mixing you did is super! Looks spot on!

Fiberartsy I can just imagine what your housecat is saying to those bird people! Very creative!

AlwaysInspired love your name & what a great thing to put on your towel to inspire others! (wish I had HBO to see True Blood tooand hope to read the books this winter when I dont have acres of lawn to mowbut I digress)

ZombieQueen your freehanding is great! I love that font!

Doo-leroux thank you for adding the TB link!  Wink  I cant wait to see what youve got planned for me!

Cupcakeguru - *gasp* LOVE your pumpkin!!!

Ritapizza your teacup bunny is the sweetest thing! Kawaii cute!  Smiley

Sixblueirises your mermaid is lovely! Wishing I could see more details of her scales & that metallic thread you used!

Kittykill your sailor gal is fab! Ssssasssy!!! (stalking for tea towel purposes is encouraged in my book!)

GatsbyGirl love your fox! The folk art flowers really work well!

Megos deer & bunny are darling!

AlwaysInspired love itfabulous quote! Ill be using that one around the house since I keep swearing to a bare minimum since becoming a mombesides, H_E_double hockey sticks doesnt really count as swearing anymore does it? The devil gal rocks!

Sarahj2001 lovely seahorse! Its a really nice compliment to j.q.adams octopus!

Im driving to the post office to pick up Glendas towel which had arrived over the long weekend today & I cant wait to get stitching on it!

Here are some images of my towel which was sent out to doo_leroux:

Thank you!  Smiley

I Sew Cute - that little girl is so cute.  I like how you did her hair.

Thank you! Her hair was made by tacking several strands of floss in the middle of those strands to the edge of her head...then they were twisted & tacked down at intervals as I wanted the braids to stream out behind her.  Wink
