I finished my design this morning. Thank you sooo much Rectangle for the tip on the rubbing alcohol. It worked splendidly. The "IV" is barely noticeable. I crayon tinted the bottom half of the letters (my first time). sorry for the cruddy pic quality. My camera died and I had to use my cell. The colors are much more vibrant in person. I used a bright green and rich purple. I free handed it based on Jenny Hart's tattoo alphabet.

Great work on both lettering jobs - I love words writing them and reading them but I hate stitching lettering...I find it has no flow even when I use script.

At work they think I'm the font police -I am all about style and the guys I work with are all about substance which I insist is in vain if no one can stand to read it Wink

oh and I think I learned the alcohol thing from beetastic Wink

I am sending my towel out today.  I didn't have time to stitch the name of the swap - just the first design.  I picked a Halloween theme.  I want to stitch the swap name in some scary lettering underneath:

The design is from istockphoto.com
