Oh, whoops, I forgot to give credit on my initial stitching.

The lyrics were typed up using the Angelina font from DaFont: http://www.dafont.com/search.php?psize=m&q=angelina

The fireworks were a Jenny Hart freebie: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jennyhart/3662480475/

These towels are looking great!  The most I've done with my towel is dig it up out of my basement stash of Good Quality Blank Flour Sack Towels.  I stitch well under pressure, so this swap is always good for me!

Another alternative to binding your towel is to back it with fabric! Here's a towel I did last year as an example:

All you do is wait until your towel is all stitched up and sew it to the backing (right sides facing each other, but leave a few inches open so you can turn it out!)

It's good if you're like me and want to get really OCD about showing the back side of your stitching.  Grin

When I get my towel back from this round, I'll probably add a backing and piping around the edges.

I will be out of town June 11-20 with limited computer access. (Be patient with me, I'm on the beach!)

I like the idea of putting a backing on the towel....good idea.  I might add that to mine when I get it back.

Oh, I love the idea of sewing on a backing! I've never done anything with my T4 towel and sewing on a backing would be perfect Smiley.
