Kittykill -- She's delightful! And the different colored flower petals are exquisite.

My pillowcase has made it safely back home. Here it is, now residing on the chaise in the dining/reading room:

Thanks to my group for rising to the challenge of picking designs around a song. You all did a great job.

greenlightgo - Great van! I think he was my fav character from that movie. The whole towel looks awesome so far.

doo_leroux -That anchor rocks my socks off. You picked a great motif and stitched it beautifully.

kittykill - You're work is always awesome. I really like her hair. Did you draw that yourself, or is it a pattern?

GatsbyGirl- I like you're new pillow! It looks great.

Great work KittyKill. The flowers are beautiful! If I remember right that is a Sublime stitching pattern.

Great finished pillowcase, Gatsby! I like how each stitched thing really works together.

Here is my embroidery for Kitten Wrangler.  She said she likes traditional Indonesian design, so in my research, I found that over there they do a lot of batik.  There is a motif I found again and again which is intersecting circles called "Kawung".  This is my interpretation:

The circles are a little bit wonky because the linen slips around.  Of course in batik, the images also are imperfect so I'm being authentic  Wink

Several other stitchers used variegated thread and I thought it was lovely so I did too.

Here is the finished towel (actually, I think it is a napkin).  It looks beautiful in person!

Pearliepie- your ice cream man looks great dont think it needs more filling and I really like the crispness of it.

Greenlightgo-it looks like youve got the VW spirit down to a tee!

Doo_leroux- your anchor fits in nicely Im hoping that towel shows up today my fingers are getting itchy Wink

Kittykill- you are the fastest needle in the West Wink  I love your SS girl with the pretty multicolored flowers!

Susie! That design fits in so nicely and is very cool!  It immediately reminded me of the wedding ring pattern for quilting!  That towel is just amazing looking great job to everyone in your group Smiley
