I really didnt expect to be this insane busy as I am when I signed up for this swap. But I totally forgot about spa week, and its been insane, its not even here yet!! Its next week. (I work @ a spa, booking appointments) I have been peeking in at moments when Im not booking appointments or doing payroll, or taxes, or anything else. I just feel like Im slacking in the being social on this thread part.

I just wanted to say everyones stuff is amazing!! One day when I free moments i will tell you exactly what I love from everyones work. But for right now Im just gonna say.... WOW! AWESOMENESS HAPPENS HERE!!!

millik -- Your addition to my pillow rocks. Great job!

ritapizza -- Your tree is fantastic. Love the autumnal colors. I like how crewel patterns can be adapted to regular embroidery as well. I've done a couple crewel pillow kits from the '70s. They're kind of great. Since you're using yarn they work up really quick and have this nice hefty look and feel to them.

kittykill -- Adorable goldfish. It's funny, I don't really like fish in real life, but when it comes to embroidery their lines and colors are just a natural fit.

I've been super busy this last month with school, but things are slowing down finally. I can't wait to see the final photos of all the towels -- we're getting close!

I just finished up my contribution to Sonjabegonia's John Hugh's themed towel. I had to use something from my fave movie of all time, Ferris Bueller's Day Off! I chose the iconic pic of him and my fave quote. "Ferris Bueller, you're my hero."
