Here is my addition to sundayafternoonhous ewife's towel.  She wanted us to do things that represented our states like flowers, birds etc.  So I did the outline of NC (in Carolina blue), a dogwood flower which is our state flower and the Hatteras lighthouse.  I'm sending it on it's way tomorrow!    I am loving everything that everyone has stitched so far.  Some real creativity!

I sew cute- That is a very beautiful mermaid, and I'm glad to see you're home and doing well.

Glenda- The stickers on the bag is such a great idea. Your works is awesome.

Gatsby- Yay for the Prince! Looks wonderful, as always.

Mego- Very nice use of Pac Man. It's a great detail, and I love your ghost.

Fiberartsy- I've always been a fan of your work, and that flower is very lovely. Your outline on SC is very neat, I just did an outline of Wisconsin, and it's not as orderly as yours.

Here's my addition to ritapizza's apron.  Her theme is kawaii/cute or vintage kitchen or anthropomorphic things.  I found this vintage pattern on Hoop Love.  I thought it was cute.

I love the prince! Pac man is super cool too! That towel is shaping up great!
The state is fantastic! What a neat idea for a towel.
Those little silverware are so cute! I've seen that pattern and thought of it many times.

Glenda - Love the suitcase! What an awesome idea to represent the tour like that. It rocks.

GatsbyGirl - That Katamari prince is fantastic!! That is definitely one of my favorite games of all time. I think it is destined to be a classic (along with things like Tetris & Mario). Your stitching is beautiful and I can't wait to see him in person.

mego - Woohoo! Ms. Pac-Man! That is one of my favorite Atari 2600 games... way better than regular Pac-Man.

Last night, I watched Wayne's World while I was working on GG's towel...

Wayne: I've always wanted to know what is the difference between Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man, really?
Noah: Well, she has a bow on her head.
Wayne: That's it?! Get right out of town!

Cheesy

fiberartsy - Great detail on the state flower. My grandma was from NC and the dogwood was one of her favorite trees. It just blooms so beautifully Smiley

sarah - Love that fork, knife and spoon! I saw that when I was browsing through Hoop Love recently, too, and wondered what I could put it on. They're so funny! And mad props for working with the metallic floss on that one. That stuff makes me want to break things for serious. Tongue

Hey I've been away for the weekend and you have all been busy...so I will pour over your designs after work today but before that I have to post the design I did up for I Sew Cute before I torture her any longer with waiting.

I was super excited to work on this design but it turned out to be really hard for me.  I love Jenny's designs but I'm really detail oriented and find some of the long stitches too long for me.  This is the very first time I've used beads though and I'm pretty pleased with how that worked out since the French Knots weren't punchy enough.

ISC said she liked pin-up girls and we all know how crafty she is so I played off of doo_leroux's design of "Sewing is Sexy" with my own often heard when there is crafting going on "No Peeking"  I love the double meaning it adds with her peeking around the corner Wink

Now before I go I have to say GLENDA! it is gorgeous Smiley thanks so much for such a thoughtful design it is really pretty...I can't wait to peer at it some more later.
