I haven't been feeling too well lately & wish I could comment on all the gorgeousness this far! I will come back & comment later though!

When I pick up my son from school today, I'll be mailing out Kittykill's towel. She mentioned she'd be using the embroidery works in this swap to frame as wall art & decorate her office...so I was drawn to embroidering something really personal that she wouldn't get tired of looking at & would always be in style. I knew it had to be  her doggers.

This is Kato & Lola...with the ball.
I just won't have time to add Jujube...another one of Kittykill's doggies into the design & make the deadline to mail out.
I totally fell in love with this photo on her flickr & didn't add it as a favorite until today in case she'd figure out what I was doing: http://www.flickr.com/photos/7528267@N02/2469951116/in/set-72157605191073455/
(if you're ever up for a personal swap Kittykill...I'll be game to stitch up Juju)
This piece is in the Southeast corner of her towel & measures about 8" x 8". I didn't get too fancy with the stitching...just basic back stitch, running stitch, split stitch, & a couple of french knots.

Sadly Kato passed away earlier this year & I'd been thinking of doing a memorial piece...unbeknownst to Kittykill. It was on the 'list' of crafts to do, but alas too many crafts & not enough time & I'm just so pleased that I could do this much!

I hope you love it Kittykill!

Oh, wow, I Sew Cute, that's just fantastic!!! I keep scrolling back up to look at it Smiley.

Lilyvanilli, the haunted house flyer design is cool -- great idea for a Halloween-themed towel!

The haunted house flier is fantastic! I'm scoping out ideas for that towel now!
I love the dogs! That is so perfect for Kittykill! What a great way to see a loved friend that is gone.

Here is my addition to Zombie_Queen's towel. She has my DotD stitchery on her wist and lilyvanilli did the dapper gentleman so I did the lady. I couldn't find a graphic for the woman similar to the man lilyvanilli used so I drew up my own so they would match. Also my first successful try at using metallic floss! I bought some thread heaven and it works fantastic! The metallic floss was used to seed stitch fill in the dress and satin stitched her shoes.

Here the lovely couple is together.

Thanks everyone. This time around I'm trying to do very custom patterns for each person. I already found inspiration for what I'm going to add to the Halloween towel!
