Here's my addition to PearliePie's towel.  Her theme is Wild West Saloons so I did a cowgirl.  Remember I am very very new to embroidery so the face was super hard...  Note to self: never attempt a small face like that again Smiley

sarahj2001  - Oh never you mind I think you did a great job! As a tip, when you want to to details like a small face, you can use less floss instead of the full six strands. Like 1 or 2 but it doesn't really make it THAT much easier as I find it harder to work with less floss....but once you pick it up....the detail you can pull off is sweeeeeet!

Did you draw the design? Very nice!

your cowgirl looks awesome!! she's totally having fun on her horse! I agree with doo_leroux's tip of trying 1 or 2 strands for facial features for more detail

I just finished my addition to Sonja's towel. She had a John Hughes theme. I must admit I was pretty stumped. But, hen my hubby reminded me that a lot of his movies took place in or reference the same fictional town in Illinois! In Weird Science there is a billboard that says "Shermer: One of America's Towns. Shermer is actually a representation of Hughes' hometown of Northbrook which used to called Shermerville and Hughes' actual high school was actually located on Shermer Rd. Thank you Wikipedia Smiley Hope you like it Sonja
